DermaZinc™ should be used for the treatment of eczema, dermatitis, seborrhea, seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff. If you suffer from psoriasis or a severe case of dermatitis, then you should first use DermaZinc™ Plus for the first 2–3 weeks and then switch to DermaZinc™.

DermaZinc™ Spray or DermaZinc™ Plus Spray should be used as the main treatment for any part of the body, including the scalp. It penetrates the skin deeper and faster, so results come more quickly. It is very important to shake the bottle very well before applying it. You should apply it twice a day, everyday, on dry skin. If you want to use it after the shower, please wait before applying it to make sure the skin is completely dry.

If you have the condition on the scalp, we also recommend you use our medicated DermaZinc™ Shampoo in combination with DermaZinc™ Spray or DermaZinc™ Plus Spray. It contains the same active ingredient—Zinc Pyrithione—and it will speed the healing process. In the beginning of the treatment, use the shampoo every other day. After your scalp is back to normal, you may try to use the DermaZinc™ Shampoo by itself to maintain the results.

If the skin problem is on your face, do not apply the spray directly; apply it on a cotton ball first, then wipe your face with the cotton ball.

If your skin is too dry or cracking, or if your skin condition is on your hands, we recommend the use of DermaZinc™ Cream in combination with DermaZinc™ Spray or DermaZinc™ Plus Spray. Use the spray in the morning and in the evening on dry skin and the cream during the day. That will keep the skin moisturized and speed up the healing process. Hands are the worst part of the body to treat because every time you wash them, you will be washing away the medication. Therefore, apply a little bit of the cream after washing your hands.

It is specially recommended for the hands, because it contains a water repellent ingredient called Dimethicone.
